HI! You are not alone!!! Welcome to the Homepage of the Muncie area branch of the "Indianapolis Defenders of Liberty" group / Muncie 912 Project- which now, for simplicity and ease in being found in searches will change our name to the Central Indiana Tea Party. MEMBERS NOTE: Our new web address is : meetup.com/central-indiana-tea-party. Members include people with various backgrounds and political opinions. Members are generally fed up with the many ways in which our gov't. is trying to destroy our traditional American way of life. Many of us enjoy all things Glenn Beck -including the 912 project (which was the original inspiration for my starting this group). Additionally, I believe all of us are conservative and committed to preserving the original intent of the Constitution and Liberty in general.
We have general meetings twice a month, plus bigger meetings with the Indy group. As we have people from a large geography in our group- so we also have mini-groups that meet in your local area for things like book study and small community education projects. The small group meeting schedules are determined by the desires of the members.
Please join us today!!! There is great power in numbers, and we need YOUR participation and input. Thank you for checking us out. Joni
If you have a desire to run but can't find the time or company, this group may be for you. We meet at different times throughout the week to run the streets of Muncie. This could be a way to meet people that share a commonality for running, build healthy relationships, or just to have someone to run next to--strictly for safety reasons. Our meeting place and route will remain in and around the Muncie area, but may occasionally change to accommodate the runners. Members can post Meetup times they will be running (early morning, early evening.. you call it). As of now, members are pacing anywhere from 8:30 to 9:30 minute miles, but all is welcome. Even pups! The more the merrier =)
Why should all the poetry groups in the area be located in and around Indianapolis? Writers in Madison and Tipton counties, Noblesville, Muncie and surrounding areas need some place closer to home to share their writings and get feedback from other poets. This will be a group that will meet one evening per month for readings and another evening per month for workshopping and critiques. Open to published and never-published writers, and those who want to get inspired to start writing again or even for the first time. The critiques evening is for helpful, non-judgmental communing. Find us on Facebook!
The Muncie Seventh-day Adventist Church is a congregation of Christians who want to know God better and experience Him more in our lives each day. We are people with real experiences who can share hope in Jesus with you - a hope that gives life, meaning and direction. And we are people just like you - dealing with the problems of life, but hoping for something better. It is this hope that gives us reason to believe, motivation to teach, and a strong desire to help others.
Americans Elect is a movement to allow every registered voter to find and directly nominate the first nonpartisan presidential nomination. We're using the Internet to break the gridlock in Washington, open up the political process and give every single voter—Democrat, Republican or independent—the power to nominate a presidential ticket in 2012. Your voice matters. You decide the issues. You choose the candidates. And now, you can meetup with other people to help make it happen. Join this Americans Elect Meetup Group to get involved locally with other folks in your town.
I started this group to get the word out to scrapbookers in my area. Whether your interest is traditional or digital scrapbooking, you are welcome to join my workshops! I am a Creative Memories consultant & have supplies onsite available for purchase.
